Famous singer-songwriter Charlie Winston visited Malawi for the first time this April and loved it so much that he's pledged his support as patron to Lilongwe Wildlife Centre. Our adult literacy volunteers happened to be visiting from one of our local communities at the same time, they saw him with his guitar and asked him to sing one of his songs. He chose 'Summertime here all year' because it talks about some of the environmental issues we're faced with here and Charlie said it was the first time he had performed it with his guitar.
